How to create a team on twitch.tv!

Creating a team page on twitch.tv is very easy and here is how to get it started!

Step 1.  Email twitch partner support with the following information:

• Team Name:
• Team Abbreviation:
• Twitch account to edit the team page:
• Page URL* (i.e., www.twitch.tv/team/<teamname>):
• *This cannot be changed once set

Note: Team page creation is only currently available for partner accounts.


Step 2.  Upon approval you will receive access to the edit page section for the team page.

Here is what the basic info section looks like from the Team Static page that I currently run on twitch.tv.

This section will have some entries filled out by your application for a team page, the only thing left on the basic info section will be to enter in a description of your team in the info box.

Step 3. Customize your channel with a logo, background and banner, this is located in the customize section.

Step 4. Invite other streamers to your team page by clicking on the members section, then inputting there name in the box.

Once you do that instruct the pending team member to visit the following section on there twitch account settings.

• Go to Settings ( http://www.twitch.tv/settings/channel )
• Click on Channel & Videos
• Scroll down to section labeled team and accept invite.
• Option to share stats & revenue is available
